In all my walks, I find the main topic in conversation to be forgiving others who have hurt you and how to forgive yourself. We all have been hurt by others in some way and we all have hurt others in some way. If you say you have never hurt anyone, then you need to stop and look deep within, and be honest with yourself and others. It is easier to see the hurt which we receive than the hurt we did. And it is easier to release the ones who have hurt us than release ourselves. But it is time.
It is time to be cleansed. Receive God’s mercy, don’t resist it.
“Why don’t you release yourself? Why don’t you take your hands off of your own neck? Forgive yourself, release yourself, and be truly cleansed. If you do this, you will experience the cleansing that the Lord wants you to enjoy”
Jeff Cavins ~ Hallow App
The following is a prayer that was said by Jeff Cavins on the Hallow App. I felt called to share this.
Lord Jesus, I know deep down inside that you love me. I don't have as much of a problem forgiving others as I do myself. I need your help! "Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean." Please stretch out your hand and touch me! Lord, touch my heart. Lord, touch my history. Lord, touch my shame. Lord, touch my thoughts. Lord, touch my family background. Lord, touch my hopes and dreams. Lord, touch the memory of those I've loved. Lord, touch the way I talk to myself. Lord, touch the hidden rooms of my heart that only you know and I'm afraid to mention. Lord, touch the judgements I've made about myself. Lord, I release my heart to you. Lord, I release my history to you. Lord, I release my shame to you. Lord, I release my thoughts to you. Lord, I release my family background to you. Lord, I release my hopes and dreams to you. Lord, I release my memory of those I've loved to you. Lord, I release the way I talk to myself to you. Lord, I release the way I compare myself to you. Lord, I release the hidden rooms in my heart that only you know about and I'm afraid to mention to you. Lord, I release the judgments I've made about myself to you. "Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean." Lord, stretch out your hand and touch me! Amen
