My Beloved Soul
Come to me just as you are. Come to me in your confusion, in your fearful times, and with all your questions. It is in those times and places that I await your call. Never forget that you are made in my image and likeness…made to be fit for this journey of faith. Your doubts are the devil’s work.
If you feel confused and fearful, remember Jesus shared those same emotions as He carried the cross. If you are afraid of tomorrow, remember His desperate prayers in the Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus, a man of great faith, questioned the burden He was asked to carry. In bearing those painful emotions, Jesus shared in your humanity. He knows firsthand about your human weaknesses but he also knows your Godly ability to win against temptation. Confusion, fear, and worry will tempt you away from your prayers, away from My wisdom, away from knowing you are My great concern. Come to me and lay your burdens down.
Come to me, My Beloved Soul
“Ask and you will receive. Seek, and you will find. Knock and it will be open to you. For the one who asks, receives. The one who seeks finds. The one who knocks enters.” Matthew 9:7-8
