Why would you want to be in charge? Why would you want to have to fix everything for everybody? Where is the fun in that. And I can definitely see you are not having fun. Today, give up the job of trying too hard. Put up your feet and let your mind rest in knowing that I am taking care of your loved ones. Give yourself, your sweet soul, your beautiful spirit a vacation. Relax and laugh more today. Leave your worries with me. Put your take charge self aside and go into the quiet. I am there and I long to give you the comfort you need to live in peace.
This is another day, O Lord…..if I am to stand up, help me to stand bravely. If I am to sit still, help me to sit quietly. If I am to lie low, help me to do it patiently. And If I am to do nothing, let me do it gallantly.
